What is an online memorial? It is a way to share memories and stories of your loved ones with others. In more ways than one, it can help in the grieving process. It also allows others to leave their thoughts and pay tribute to the pet that you loved so dearly. What do I get as a member and what does it cost? Registering to become an OFC member simply allows you to set up an account to create your memorial. We offer different levels of membership to meet your needs. Can I upgrade from my original membership level? Yes, at any time. Simply log-in to your control panel and click the "Upgrade" button. Choose your upgrade package from there.

Is it hard to create an online memorial?
Not at all. Our process will walk you through each step. Most everyone can do this without assistance and you don't need to possess any web-building skills. How long will it before I see my memorial online after I create it?
Online memorials are posted and available for viewing immediately after you finish them. You may come back later and edit as often as you like, adding more text or photos, moving pictures around, changing backgrounds, etc.

Why don't you offer music with your online memorials?
Two reasons:
We could offer some music for the online memorial, but we like to have a very easy site that all people can connect to with ease. Individuals with slower connections have difficulty navigating a burdensome site and streaming music can create problems. We like to think our customers want all visitors to view their memorial with ease.
Perhaps even more importantly, using unlicensed music is ILLEGAL. For instance, you may want to have Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven" play over your online memorial. Unfortunately, it is very expensive for us to provide this legally. If we charged you something along the lines of two or three dollars to get the music for you, we may have paid to download it, but it wouldn't legally pay for the proper licensing agreement.

Can my data be lost?
We do everything in our power to ensure your data can never be lost or stolen. Your data is protected on two different secure servers in separate locations.

Will ads appear on this website?
Never. This site was created to honor your pet and you, the owner. Ads will never appear on your site.

Don't you also sell memorial videos? What's that?
Memorial DVDs are professionally produced, permanent video keepsakes, customized by you. In essence, it is a moving slideshow synchronized with music and any text you add in the project. It is formatted for all DVD players and packaged with a full-color label and cover. All art is designed by a professional graphics designer. Our art staff has over 24 years of experience.

These are played during the visitations and services and sold to friends and family members. These moving slideshows are created by professional videographers; the same ones that will handle your project.
We are proud to say that unlike many companies that provide this type of service in our field, no part of our video products are ever "randomly" generated through a video-making computer program. Each project is handled with special care to ensure the focus of attention in the pictures is relevant to feature. This takes time and effort, but we believe the end result is of the highest quality and we are proud to please our customers.

Do you offer music with your DVD memorials?
Yes. We possess the licenses to many pieces of music for our DVD memorials. This specifically allows us to synchronize that music to a "movie" or video. Samples of these songs are available to hear when you order and your video and select your options.

What happens if I order a DVD memorial and it doesn't work in my DVD player or gets damaged?
This is very rare. We take every measure to ensure our products meet all DVD-format standards and we use the newest hardware and software to meet that need. Our DVDs are guaranteed for one year and if yours is damaged and won't play within that time, you may receive a free replacement, assuming damaged discs were not mishandled or abused.

What if I want extra copies of my DVD memorial to give to my family and friends?
Extra copies may be purchased at any time.

What if I want an extra copy five years from now?
That's fine. We keep master copies on hand forever. Your price for an extra copy will never cost you more than the going rate.

How much does this all cost?
We have several options available:

FREE - online text only memorial
. This memorial will stay online for one year. You may post your story and tribute and set up a friendly thoughts guestbook if you like where others can leave messages. You can also send any of our free custom e-cards to invite others to view your memorial.

$30 - Photographic memorial
It will be fully editable at any time and stay online indefinitely. You have unlimited use of text, photos and customized back grounds. You can create a photo gallery, a slideshow and set up a friendly thoughts guestbook. You can also send any of our free custom e-cards to invite others to view your memorial.

$55 - Photographic online memorial PLUS a DVD memorial keepsake
That's a $20 savings on the DVD.

$45 - DVD memorial keepsake only
If you don't desire to have an online memorial, but would like a DVD memorial created for you to keep forever, you may choose this option.

SPECIAL WORK
$75 - Mail in your photos
We realize some people may not have the tools, knowledge or time to properly scan and upload their photos. We can do this for you. Send your photos to us, we will scan them and create a video for you per your instructions. Your photos will be shipped back to you with your DVD.
